The Garden History & Design Committee uses photography and research, the study of good design practices, educational and lecture programs, and internships to develop an appreciation for America’s gardens. 

Conservation

Our members actively support conservation efforts, works to learn about the environment, and share this knowledge through projects and experiences with our members and with our community. Members also enjoy educational programs, workshops and guest speakers.

Photography

Join club enthusiasts on photo excursions and learn from fellow award-winning members. Our members regularly participate in competitions locally and nationally and have received prizes for work in shows juried by The Garden Club of America!

Founded in 1927, VGC is a volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)3 organization based in Sewickley, Pennsylvania, and has been a member of the Garden Club of America since 1961. We Garden, Create, Advocate!
